Ford Models Blog

Ethan James | L’Officiel Hommes China Oct. 2010 by Damien Neva

Here is a story to file under M for Magazine-Cover-You’ll-See-on-the-Interweb-Three-Years-before-You-Will-Ever-See-in-Print. The Ford Models Blog normally eschews this sort of firsty business of blogging the first pixellated GIF of a magazine cover that shows up on the interweb. We prefer to review the print version so that we can enjoy the entire story, read basic information such as the names of the creatives, and even crumple the tears that make us ill. Today we’re going to temporarily suspend this policy and mingle amongst the unwashed blogs and post a cover picture of Ford Men’s Ethan James on L’Officiel Hommes China Oct. 2010. Who photographed it? Couldn’t say with any certainty, but we’re guessing Milan Vukmirovic as he shoots all these covers. The subject, however is easy (hint: it’s on the cover!), Dior Homme and its creative designer Kris Van Assche. Ethan is an obvious choice for the cover as he opened the Dior Homme S/S 11 show in Paris this summer. Whenever this magazine reaches the shelves of our favorite newsstand in the West Village, then we’ll hop on our hoverboard to buy it and post the entire story on this page.

Credits include: Photographer, Alessandro Dal Buoni; Stylist, ?, Grooming, ? Hair, ahhh, you get the idea.
