Alana Zimmer | Pop Autumn / Winter 2010 by Damien Neva

Ford’s Alana Zimmer features in Pop Autumn / Winter 2010 in an editorial photographed by René Habemacher with fashion editing by Isabelle Kountoure. Titled “Who? How? How Much?” the story showcases three rising design talents in Hakaan, Joseph Altuzarra, and Pedro Lourenço. The setting of the Dionysos Marble Quarry of Athens, Greece is then wholly appropriate as a stage to exhibit the raw talent of these emerging designers who together broadly share a commitment to minimalism. This story also marks Alana’s return to a geologically dramatic outcropping since her Vogue Italia April 2010 beauty editorial by Greg Lotus that was set inside a sandstone cave. All told it is a gorgeous effort for a model with four F/W 10 campaigns presently running for Gap, Margaret Howell, Elie Tahari, and Nicole Miller.
