Ford Men’s Ryan Burns features in Esquire November 2010 in an editorial photographed by Kate Orne. Titled “The Long Ride to Anywhere” one of our favorite evergreen Ford Men is the Hearst men’s glossy’s vehicle for five travel tips: 1) Choose your companion wisely, 2) Believe in shearling, 3) Invest in lightweight cashmere, 4) Lace up them [sic] boots, and 5) Layer it on thick. Thanks, Esquire. Truth be told periodicals love numbers and will use any excuse to work them into a magazine copy. Thankfully Esquire chose a number one in Ryan Burns who opens the story wearing a two-button wool-and-cashmere jacket by and viscose shirt by Giorgio Armani, cotton-denim trousers by Z Zegna, a modestly priced Cartier watch at $11,600 and a slightly bemused look as his companion undoes the stylist’s best efforts by climbing out of her first look. All told the story is just the sort trip we enjoy and are glad to have taken it with Ryan Burns.
