Here is a story about autumn in New York that is as irresistible as a sunny afternoon in late October. Of course we’re talking about the Glamour Nov. 2010 editorial that features Ford Women’s Sadie Newman photographed by Hilary Walsh. Titled “Clothes for Cool Girls” with styling by fashion editor Maggie Mann the story presents Sadie on a carefree afternoon in areas in and around Dumbo and Vinegar Hill in Brooklyn. For this story Glamour‘s cool girl wears several immensely wearable ensembles perhaps best exemplified by the fuchsia minidress by No. 21 (dove optional) and A-line dress by Stella McCartney with leopard print Rochas bag. For texture and pattern obvious turns are made toward the pale blue chunky knit sweater by Prada, a polka dot sweater by Sonia Rykiel, and that leopard print coat by Gucci. All of which are very cool especially when worn by our very own Sadie Newman.
