After a busy week in the City venturing upstate for the weekend is a pleasant option, but a trip upstate for Seventh Man with photographer Randall Mesdon and fashion editor Julie Ragolia is an even better option if you’re Ford Men’s AJ Abualrub. Titled “Black Mountain College Photos” the story shot in luscious black and white and features an impeccably styled AJ walking through a wooded area in early autumn — think English professor from a Tom Ford movie goes hiking. AJ’s first look includes a peacoat by Paul Smith, jacket with quilted vest by Brioni, shirt by Raf Simons, trousers by Kris Van Assche, hat by Block Headwear, and glasses by Moscot. The third look incorporates a Julia Watanabe cardigan that could not better match the misty Catskills. Suit and dress shirt by Dior Homme with Dries trousers round out a shadowy fourth look.
All told this story’s high-level photography, styling, and inspired location reflect well on a publication that is only into its second issue — second issue! It simply cries out to be seen on the page. Please visit Seventh Man online to find out more information on how to subscribe.
