Ford Models Blog

Francisco Lachowski | Armani Exchange S/S 11 by Damien Neva

Far be it for the Ford Models Blog to sniff at a campaign, we know who pays our rent. That said, there is nothing wrong with showing a little cheek by highlighting some of the more obvious features of any major campaign. Before that, however we’d like to cover the basics, namely that Ford Men’s Francisco Lachowski features for the Armani Exchange S/S 11 campaign by photographer Matthew Scrivens and fashion editor Kate Lanphear. Now for some cheek…this campaign, which celebrates twenty years of A|X, comes with its very own “Style Festival” video treatment that sort of reminds us of a certain 1990s era teen drama, but with an obvious 2011 reboot set to a contemporaryish club beat. Shot over three days at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, home of Coachella and a host of other music-like festivals, the campaign promises loads of, well, “peace, love, and style” of course. And who could argue with that?! Not us. So long as Chico is wylin’ out for A|X, we’re good with it. According to our amigos at Made In Brazil, the rest of the campaign will launch in February.
