Francisco Lachowski | Ten Men Spring / Summer 2011 by Damien Neva

With all due respect to that crooning lad from Ontario, his fans don’t have anything on those of Ford Men’s Francisco Lachowski. Such is the baying excitement that no sooner than I make mention of our agency address at 291 Geary St, is our Twitter flooded with a dozen inquiries about the 6’2″ (188 cm) boy from Brazil. Is he in town? Does he like his fans? What’s his girl’s na–People, that was San Francisco, relax! Despite Chico being a couple miracles shy of canonization, Francisco’s fans are undiminished in their support or number of fuckyeah reblogs. I suppose this fanaticism isn’t without good reason especially considering Francisco’s latest editorial feature in Ten Men Spring / Summer 2011 by photographer Marcelo Krasilcic and fashion editor Benjamin Sturgill. Appropriately titled “Francisco,” the story romps through ten Spring / Summer looks starting with a neutral shirt by Dior Homme, boiler suit by Kenzo, and those now ubiquitous shoes by Prada (stylist note: too much of a good thing, etc and so on). Notwithstanding a demonstrable inability to cure leprosy, Francisco still does no wrong for the shoot even when he is made to wear that tan shirt and skort by Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci. He is practically walking on water wearing the day-glow jacket, jumper, and trousers by Jil Sander. But, before this post devolves into the sort of hagiography practiced on the interweb by his ardent supporters, I would like to remind readers that Francisco after all is, whisper it, mortal…albeit with some saintly swag.

He is adorable -cute interesting guy. Please even though it is fashion do not let any models wear a skirt unless it is a quilt! Let’s not overboard here.

Technically that is a skort, or shorts with full legs and central front flap. But, yeah, even if by Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci I know what you mean!
