When I conceived of the “Speaking with Ford Models” series that debuted a week ago with ck one Fragrance model Bo Ackerson, I hadn’t envisaged the below video featuring Ford Men’s Francisco Lachowski. That said, I am also not a fool and know when to rubbish Plan A when a stronger Plan B arises. Strictly speaking the title, “Speaking with Francisco Lachowski,” is wantonly misleading. Chico doesn’t actually speak with words, though he clearly is speaking volumes. In the pantheon of minimalist greats, this modest 65-second video is no Godot or 4′33″, but all the same its genre-bending spareness will likely be met with immediate satisfaction rather than the consternation and befuddlement initially heaped upon the aforementioned works. Showmanship definitely has its place in art and fashion. Sometimes a model should be allowed just to model and I for one am not about to obstruct beauty by needlessly asking questions whilst speaking with Francisco Lachowski.
