Isaac Weber | Sportswear International May / June 2011 by Damien Neva

There is something to be said of a proper menswear editorial. The looks are stylish, wearable, and even a bit bookish. John Tan in particular is a stylist who invariably put the proper in “proper menswear editorial.” One of his latest stories titled “The Noble Experiment” in Sportswear International #237 May / June 2011 by photographer Alex Wagner and featuring Ford Men’s Isaac Weber is no exception. In it Tan creates a quintessential American look by drawing from a palette of denim, leather, and cotton. Isaac’s second look is comprised of a navy cotton vest by Bespoken, blue faded wash cotton denim shirt by Vintage 55, faded blue light wash cotton jeans and black and white striped silk ascot by Hilfiger Denim, black canvas belt with silver buckle and leather squares by Y-3, black leather skinny tie by Tween, light brown leather cap by Bailey Hats, and black leather braided bracelet by Michael Saiger. As experiments go, this is surely a success and thanks in no small part to Tan’s styling nous and of course the always excellent Isaac Weber.
